2. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. We ask that you follow our cancellation policy to help us serve all our clients effectively:
- Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment incur no charge.

3. Health Requirements
The health and safety of every pet in our care is our top priority. Please be aware of the following requirements:
- All dogs must be up to date on core vaccinations (rabies, distemper, parvovirus) and proof may be requested.
- Dogs showing signs of contagious illness, parasites (fleas, ticks), or infectious skin conditions may be refused service to protect other pets and our staff.
- Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, skin sensitivities, or behavioral concerns at the time of booking.
- Senior dogs or dogs with known health issues may require a veterinary clearance for certain services.
- Puppies must be at least 12 weeks old and have received their initial vaccinations before their first grooming appointment.
4. Liability
Spa4Pet takes every precaution to ensure the safety and well-being of your pet during grooming services. However, please note:
- Grooming involves the use of sharp tools and equipment. While our professional groomers exercise the utmost care, minor nicks or irritation can occasionally occur, particularly on dogs with matted coats or sensitive skin.
- Spa4Pet is not liable for pre-existing conditions that may be discovered or become apparent during grooming (e.g., skin irritation hidden under matted fur).
- If your pet experiences any adverse reaction during grooming, we will stop the service immediately and contact you. If necessary, we will seek veterinary attention at the owner's expense.
- Spa4Pet is not responsible for any reaction to grooming products, although we use high-quality, hypoallergenic products whenever possible.
- Owners are responsible for informing us of any known aggression or anxiety issues. Aggressive dogs that pose a risk to our staff may have their service discontinued.
5. Grooming Consent
By booking an appointment with Spa4Pet, you consent to the following:
- You authorize our professional groomers to perform the requested grooming services on your pet.
- You grant permission for our team to use their professional judgment to adjust grooming techniques or styles if the requested service is not feasible due to coat condition, matting, or safety concerns.
- In cases of severe matting, a full shave-down may be recommended as the most humane option. Our team will contact you to discuss options when possible.
- You consent to the use of appropriate restraint methods (grooming loops, tables) to ensure your pet's safety during the grooming process.
- Photos of your pet may be taken for our records. We will request separate permission before using any photos for promotional or social media purposes.
